Just add display and you have an excellent desktop system. Great computer, good price, fast service what more could you ask for.This computer comes with a fast quad-core processor, 6 gbytes of memory, good onboard video and audio.

You will need to replace peripherals or get new drivers. Don't buy a machine with this OS. Still haven't set this machine up since it won't recognize my wireless card or printer. Over an hour online with HP revealed the culprit is Vista 64 bit OS.

So unless you upgrade the graphics you may not get peak performance from the aero interface under higher resolutions.

The desktop can be restored to factory condition from a 2nd partition on the hard drive. The additional upgrades cost $135(I got the graphics card for $45 after rebate). So before you upgrade to a new graphics card you need to install a higher watt PSU, since a GeForce 9500 has a minimum requirement of 350 watts while a Geforce 9800 GT has a min req of 400 watts. For graphics I went with a EVGA GeForce 9500 GT.

But what the Pavilion A6650F comes with that most don't is the AMD Phenom x4 Quad-Core Processor. It rendered a DV-AVI video faster than realtime.
